I contributed to the drafting a Bill and an Amendment for United States House- and Senate-initiated legislation, respectively H.R. 5411 and S. 782, in partnership with Rep. Kosmas (D-FL) and Sen. Brown (D-OH) and Sen. Gillibrand (D-NY).

I testified before the US House of Representatives Committee on Small Business on the value of supporting business incubation programs to help create new jobs.

Representing NBIA, I was a founding member of the Innovation Coalition, a group of trade associations—including the Angel Capital Association, The National Association of Seed and Venture Funds, the Association of University Research Parks, the Association of University Technology Managers and the Community Development Venture Capital Alliance—promoting innovation and technology commercialization to Washington DC policymakers.

I was invited to be part of an expert advisory panel for the Atlanta Fed, with other top incubation center leaders, to discuss entrepreneurship development and access to capital and how the Fed could better support job creation in the United States.
